Welcoming and Belonging: Overview of Inclusion Practices in After School Programs
Engagement and learning is enhanced when everyone feels welcomed and a sense of belonging with their peers. This is a critical factor to the success of inclusive programming. This workshop will provide an overview of what inclusion is and isn't. Strategies and supports needed to support the diverse needs of all children will be shared and participants will learn how to access adaptations and modifications through services provided by the Inclusion Collaborative.
