Michelle Ramirez has dedicated more than 28 years in service to California’s public schools, working as a preschool teacher, elementary and middle school teacher,  grade level coach, school principal, director of LCAP/Student Services, and senior director of educational services. Schools under Michelle’s leadership have received multiple state recognitions for Title I Academic Achievement, California Distinguished School, and Principal/School Arts Leadership Awards. She believes in the power of community, co-designing systems that allow for equity in participation and positive outcomes, and grounding our work in creativity and care.
